Library Offers Free Computer Classes

New Castle-Henry County Public Library is providing three free computer courses during the month of September. A PowerPoint Basics computer class will be held on Tuesday, September 5. Participants can choose to attend at 10 a.m. or 3 p.m. to learn about how to create business presentations and photo slide shows using Microsoft PowerPoint.

Adults over the age of 55 are invited to join Surfin’ Seniors on Thursday, September 14, as they learn the basics of using computers. This class will begin at 10 a.m.

Computer Basics is the subject of the computer class on Monday, September 18, offered at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. This class covers information including how to turn computers on and how to use computers to make life easier.

All computer classes will take place in the training lab, which is located behind the public computer lab on the upper level of the library. Computer classes at the library are free, but registration is required. Register online at www.nchcpl.org or call 765-529-0362, ext. 315.
