Grandma’s Wartime Kitchen & Cookie Exchange... Cookbook Club Continues

Learn more about the challenges of feeding a family during World War II during the Cookbook Club’s next program on Tuesday, November 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s upper level meeting room. Grandma’s Wartime Kitchen will take participants on a trip back in time to explore what it was like to be a homemaker during World War II. Christina Ferroli, a Purdue Extension Educator, will present this interesting program.

The Cookbook Club will host a cookie exchange on Wednesday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. Please bring a dozen homemade cookies, three or four zippered plastic bags, and a friend. Christmas games, prizes, and refreshments will be provided.

The Cookbook Club is open to anyone. Attend one meeting or attend them all. For more information or to register, log on to www.nchcpl.org or call 529-0362, ext. 310.
