National Library Week

Celebrate your New Castle-Henry County Public Library by joining in these ongoing activities this week.

  • Visit the reference desk for the "Stump the Librarian" Contest.
  • Watch for a Junie B prize drawing in the Children's Library.
  • Celebrate Young People's Poetry Week: Teens can participate in a "Name That Poet" Contest and win just for entering!

Also, this week:

Friends of the Library will meet for their Annual Meeting tonight at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. They will hear from author Lois Jordan, discuss upcoming activities, and vote on by-laws.

Spring Story Time will be on Tuesday at 1:30 pm and Friday at 10:00 am for ages 3-kindergarten.

Surfin' Seniors will have a basic Internet class on Tuesday at 9:30 am.

Vote for Pedro - Watch Napoleon Dynamite in the Teen Room at 4:00 pm on Wednesday and enjoy refreshments while you watch.

Learn the basics of using the library catalog on Thursday at 10:00.

Toddler Tales, story time for babies 18-36 months will meet on Saturday at 10:00 am.
